And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
It also comes with other notable features, like a self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. It's a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is a great option. It has a wide range of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up, and its battery drains faster than other models we've tried.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it's possible to take photos of any object it finds (i.e. chew toys,, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not connected to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not so good in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
